Dishonest

This is a while back now but having read other reviews I felt compelled to write. I ordered a mother's day e-voucher for £200 for my Mum. She did not receive it. With lockdown meaning had not seen her for 6 months I wanted to give her something special and had she not said that she was a little surprised I had forgotten mothers day I would never have know she had not received it and the White Company would have in effect stolen my money. I wonder how many others this has happened to unbeknownst to them. When I complained they said simply they would look into it and it took until Friday afterwards before she finally received it - 5 days after Mothers day. All I received from the White Company (Siyanda McCabe) was an emailing stating "we have now sent it" without any apology. I was appalled and replied saying I was hoping for an apology. They wrote again apologising but I must say I expected maybe a voucher as an apology which I suggested without reply. I wasn't looking for a free be but I did expect my order to arrive on time when it was time sensitive and at the very least an unprompted apology after which becomes meaningless. I have spent a lot of money at the White Company over the years on my wife, Mum, sister and development projects but I will now think twice! Appalling customer service.

Waste of time

Such a joke company. I put an order online and waited for over a month and nada...
Had to go to the website's chatroom to inquire about my order. They told me the items I ordered was no longer available (after a month) and no one even bothered to contact me to let me know I should go and look for what I'm trying to purchase elsewhere.
They keep you hanging without a simple email notification or something...
Never shop at that company again.

I love the White Company but ......

I love the White Company but am becoming increasingly frustrated by the returns process. Having to fill out a cumbersome form by hand with long item names and codes is painful. This is the only company I know that does this.Also, as a privilege customer I have been accustomed to a free returns label being included within the parcels. Sadly my last few purchases have not had such a label. Not entirely sure why. Please can this be rectified?!

The White company downhill...

I have been The White Company customer for years and generally like the items I purchased. But my recent purchased I've mae during lockdown left me very disappointed and upset.Unisex Hydrocotton Hooded Robe, Navy, LargeLHCRBLNY1£80.00Order 8001991112326292EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE COVERED IN FLUFF, even after washing and tumble dry it still "shed" the fibers. THE OTHER POOR QUALITY ITEM:Mesh pocket leggins.They looked great before I wore them. They bubble up after one wear!!!!The waist doesn't stay on, had to insert elastic to be able to wear.Such a shame that it puts me off from buying from TWC again.I spend thousands of pounds and such a pity that some peaces of such a BAD QUALITY!!!!

Terrible customer service

My 87 year old mother was looking to a buy a gift for a friend during lockdown. I suggested she try "The White Company". Having bought stuff in their shops before, thinking their stuff was reasonable quality. There was a problem with the delivery and message card. My mum called the company to make a complaint but also to let them know what had happened, as they might want to be aware, so it didn't happen again. The woman she spoke with on the "helpline" was absolutely not going to take any responsibility or offer any apology. Doesn't make sense, my mum wasn't after a refund she just thought she should give them the heads up, so the same thing wouldn't happen again (to another customer) Really awful service, wouldn't ever buy anything from there again or recommend (I'd stick to John Lewis)

As always, excellent quality, I love all your products my only criticism is that the gift boxes don’t always arrive and at £5 a box, this has happened to me twice now and also heard it from friends ?

Lovely quality as usual

Lovely quality as usual. Duvet cover and pillowslips with delicate embroidery. Cotton is a very nice quality.

Extremely poor service.

I didn’t receive an order because my order had not been processed. White company did not inform me of their error. I had to contact them and find out. When told I would need to reorder, I then found out the item was out of stock. I was promised vouchers for the time I wasted contacting The White Company, but these did not appear. Overall an extremely poor service. If I could give 0 stars I would.
